I haven't listened to Crazy Clown Time yet. I should check it out . . . There is a connection between the two albums. This album was recorded with Lynch collaborator Dean Hurley, so maybe the sound similarity isn't an accident.

Nah not really but I feel like that song is not near as effective as it could be. The guitars freaking out but the drums staying on the 808s weirds me out so much and I don't think it works
