@parksungjoon most deceased musicians get over glorified, I'll admit Dimebag certainly does particularly because the circumstances in which he died but you cant deny that he wrote some of the most headbangable riffs and had fantastic solo's (10's, the sleep, planet caravan cover). Just because they weren't exactly pushing the boundaries of metal (although they went against the norm of becoming more accessibly with each release) and their fan base has a lower IQ then most it doesn't mean they weren't a really solid band.

they have a single good, consistent album in cowboys from hell, everything since then has been like two good tracks and 10-13 brainless filler ones with terrible riffs, brocore tough guy vocals and lyrics and mindless shred solos
and then there's the glam stuff
it's ok that you enjoy them, i still listen to some of their tracks, but pantera are by no metrics a solid or good band
