^^ it's a really long story, and it's not something I want to talk about on Sputnik, if you really want to know, you can contact me on AIM or something.

exactly why in Spanish?

Ok - nice review apart from the fact its less doom metal than Perry Como. Slow does not immediately equal doom.

I love In the Woods but I must be the only person in the world who rates Strange in Stereo higher than Omnio. SiS is especially great because I think the song "Vanish in the absence of Virtue" may well be my favourite song of all time.

ps check out the Live at the Caledonian Hall album too. V Good.

I would try to review it but I don't have enough superlatives. Put it this way it would get 5/5 from me if "Vanish in the Absence of Virtue" was the only song on there.

I am trying to get into some doom metal bands. Is In The Woods... a good band to look into? I assume so from the rating of this album.

Neither of them seemed to have been active in a long time so I didn't bother.

A true masterpiece of metal music in general, for me the greatest offering that ever came from Norway!

I've never heard this band, but for some reason I always though that they were a black metal band.

Pretty much one of the greatest modern metal records ever recorded. So close to a 5 I wouldn't be suprised if I changed it today.

I wonder why I never posted a comment here... heck, hadn't even rated it until now.

It's a great album, but I dig 'HEart of the Ages' a bit more than this... appeals more to the metalhead inside me I guess.
