If I went ahead and did a clean mixdown combining both discs would anyone want a copy? I DJ and got the gear to do it.

It's so strange and almost eerie how the beginning clean guitar melody in Departe is so warm to me. It like engulfs you on a large sound system.

Yeah, perfect album for the large scale sound system. This completely blew my brains out when i could actually feel it, rather than hear it... The stereo brings tremendous difference in experience.

yeah its pretty much a game-changer the first time. A friend played Itinerant for me with no details about the kind of band it was, we were just waiting in his car for band practice. I was not prepared for it. Wake/Lift would be one of my all-time most anticipated albums after the endless spins of TGS.

What’s the Spotify version then? Only one exists, I’m assuming it isn’t the double-disc version.

I don't use Spotify but I'll just assume it's not the double version. Search around and you'll find it easy enough.

Unless the other version changes the vox style, overly high pitched frequencies during the ‘abrasive bits’ & makes it less meandering I’m not sure there’s any point. I guess added layers could help with the latter during the more ambient sections.

That does sort of sound like the combined version already. Perhaps it is!

If any of you guys have been waiting like I have for a physical repress, Translation Loss is currently running one. I dropped the $74 on the 5LP one since this was huge for me and one of the easiest 5s I can think of. Also it looks dope af.
