i thought it was kinda weird and a little offputting when the singing started near the end of the album with Nowhere. Imo it completely threw off the mood of an otherwise stellar ambient work. I mean I get that they're all live recordings from all over the place but nonetheless, I'd be happier if they just ended on Gold Beach.

While I absolutely loved the first half of kraut rock, Grails style instrumental awesomeness, the second half was harder to swallow, and the Anathema voices didn't help much.
