debut, killers, beast, somewhere in time, seventh son.......all more 'consistent'

this and beast
|

A Matter of Life and Death is probably their most consistent tbh.
Nothing against their classic era, it's their 'classic era' for a reason, it's just that the highs were always significantly higher than the lows on their 80's album to the extent that I feel all of them had a slight feeling of inconsistency. Well, more than a slight feeling of inconsistency in the case of this and Piece of Mind.

i find them to be.....i love this record dont get me wrong, just about a stone cold classic......but losfer, duellists, village, and blade are all gangland level
and outisde of CIPWM, every other song on 7th son is better than those 4 as well
so, yes they are.....

this is a movement kind of, so the shorter songs are there to help or move along the bulk of the album, I give the smaller stuff a pass

well enough then......perhaps we can agree that the debut through 7th son is the best 7 album run ever in heavy metal music
|
| |
7th son is definitely more consistent than this. I'd go as far as saying that it's the most consistent and cohesive of their 80's albums.
