Having spun Motörhead all day while playing far too much Fallout 4 for a man my age I've concluded that when we are all mutant hybrids scurraging around a post apocalyptic scorched earth I'll be jamming this full blast from me Mad Max style motor (named Lemmy) hammering into the next shanty town to raise hell.

There were some modest lifestyle changes: Lemmy cut back from his more than two packs of cigarettes a day to one pack a week. And after at least four decades of a half-gallon of Jack Daniels every day, he switched to vodka and orange juice and just four or five drinks a day. He still enjoyed his daily speed.
^ Dude. That's 64 oz of Jack a day. That's 2 liters. And it wasn't even liver disease that got him. What a beast.

"One cool thing happened in the Seventies when a chick just climbed up [onstage] and blew me," Lemmy told Inked. "I was singing — well, I couldn't stop, could I?"

I always kind of skipped over these guys outside of Ace of Spades, but watching the entire metal community's reaction to his death has made me want to remedy this. Started with this album and loved it the whole way through, especially the t/t, where should one move from there?
And great review manosg, a well-deserved feature for a moving tribute.

"If you can give the kids a good time then that’s all it’s for. Forget art and all that – that’s bullshit. If you can send that shiver down a kid’s back then that’s what it’s all about. All else is bullshit. That’s what rock’n’roll was for in the first place and as far as I’m concerned that’s what it’s still about. I’m trying to give them that feeling I felt the first time I heard All Shook Up or Good Golly Miss Molly. I just want to send that shiver up their back because it’s the best thing I ever felt. It’s better than screwing."
Total geezer. Sigh.

He was full of little nuggets of truth like that, the world feels slightly emptier without him to be honest.

Definitely Tuna dude.
I've dreaded this day since I saw that Lemmy doc a few years back and knew that it was going to happen sooner rather than later.
Looking on sput and t'internet and seeing the comments people have posted along with the recollections people had of the man just makes it fucking heartbreaking.
He really was a living legend and now he's pegged it.
Whose going to save us now??????????

Don't forget to check Another Perfect Day and Iron Fist (which Lemmy hated for some reason but is still great), besides what rom and Hans recommended.
