Review Summary: Solid album. The bands most complete effort to date.

Prior to the release of Agorapocalypse, Agoraphobic Nosebleed's catalogue of albums never really surmounted to anything that felt full, or complete. With Agorapocalypse, the band have finally produced an album which feels like an album - longer songs with proper structures are evident for the entirety. It can be stated that the quality of the songs on offer is at a much higher level in comparison to previous releases. Standout tracks would have to be Question of Integrity, Trauma Queen and Ex-Cop. Question of Integrity boasts some brilliantly penned lyrics, which as well as being superbly delivered in a vicious attack of scathing vocals between the three vocalists, they are also incredibly humorous.

"You wanna talk to me about Pig Destroyer? Well I've smoked crack with a ***ing cop, you wanna see anb live, we'll take the deposit and not show up!"

The song also boasts a superb drum solo. I would say that Scott Hull, as well as ***ting great riff after great riff, his abilities with drum programming have escalated to a new level of quality. In terms of the guitar, this album is chock full of thrashy riffs, groove riffs and super speedy grind bits. Vocalist Katherine Katz is awesome throughout. Trauma Queen features her in full force - there is also a neat section where the guitar dissolves into a brilliantly well placed frequency disruption. You have to hear it for yourself, as it is difficult to describe.

Overall, every track on the album is decent. The second half of the album is definitely stronger than the first half but that is not to say that the first half of the album is boring or lacks in any way. To conclude, this album is the bands finest work to date, I would say. Everything flows well and the standout tracks are quite phenomenal. This album is ferocious - it will grab you by the throat and swing you around over and over.
