A Curious Tale just felt and sounded like a very direct, physically oriented album, her first full on push into the mainstream light while this new comes off a lot more like all her other eps and mixtapes

doesnt feel as conceptual or grandiose. just a collection of some danke beats and feats. which is fine but i was hoping for something more like the former from her at this point.

New one did feel a lot more mixtape-y and this album is a lot better, but it's still a fine record. It could do without 80% of the features tho.

Agreed, almost seemed like the feature verses outnumbered Simz's verses on the new one. Didn't feel as personal as this one.
