"Definitely AOTY so far. Wow."

Not even the best punk album this year. See Rosenstock, Jeff

Premise: Wonder Years fans aren't posting reviews and talking shit about my posts. Conclusion: Wonder Years fans are high schoolers. Darn it, I'll never get those brain cells back.

Just finished first listen and this is a massive disappointment for me - still good but doesn't top Greatest Generation.

I like the album, but I agree with Treb. The Hotelier has pretty much set the gold standard for punk/emo records with Home, Like NoPlace Is There. They did it better.

This will probably fall to a 3.5 for me which is sad because the last two were huge in my life. IDLWIWT is one of the best songs they've ever written but there's some boring shit here, and some pretty cringeworthy lyrics (moreso than usual).

Unsurprisingly this doesn't touch The Greatest Generation but I'm enjoying so far

Last half weak? Between the closer, Ernest Hemingway and Stained Glass Ceilings... I'm not seeing it. Don't think you can really compare this with The Hotelier too much either, different styles, they feel different.

I don't know. I fucking love this. So much more variety than The Greatest Generation, and the best song they've ever written in Cigarettes & Saints
