How can Bruce's vocals annoy you but the whiny dude from Ghost doesn't?

Mentioning two things in the same sentence is not a comparison, I did not mention any similarities.

Can't tell if trolling attempt or real life.

Actually you're the same guy who said that no one likes guitar solos in metal, so I'm assuming trolling attempt.

I've never been able to dig Maiden all that much, but I persist because of what a commanding force they've been in metal.
I'm liking this so far, although as cool as Dickinson is, I've never liked his vocals all that much.

the solo discussion was about death metal and i didnt said nobody would like solos but that no one cares for them in death metal. dont distort the facts.

and yes im serious. i quite enjoyed the red and the black as long as bruce didn't sing tho, that song was quite entertaining

Even with your two-word clarification (which barely changes the sentiment), it's a silly thing to say. The majority of bands in plain ole death metal bands employ the guitar solo per song schema, unless you're talking even more specifically, like brutal death metal or death doom. Solos aren't as prevalent there.

either way, thats offtopic now.

you know the thing about bruce in my opinion is that he has a big range (well obviously) but not a good singing voice at all.

just compare him to dio

this is miles ahead of their last album. getting a bit of a seventh son/somewhere in time vibe as well which I definitely can't complain about
