The opener is a thing of beauty. Spirit sounds like some freaky Scooby Doo music until the drums come in like thunder over Hades.

"He is" is straight up evangelical white christian cheesy gospel song.
How did they pull this off ?
Amazing.
Spirit - Amazing opening track.
Cirice - Great song, great chorus.
He Is - Again, brilliant. If you like this song, bad news, you might be a closeted evangelical gospel fan.
Absolution - Start is very Metallica circa Black Album. Pure apotheosis. Epic Rush-ey finish was amazing.
Deus in Absentia - Danny Elfman-esque goodness.
These guys are so god damn consistent. If i had a band i'd be terribly annoyed at how easy they do it.

Overall, it's a bit better, but I think Year Zero and Ghuleh are better than anything on Meliora.
