As a massive fan of BTBAM I really wanted to like this album, and I do, but it doesn't compare to their earlier efforts. It just doesn't hold my attention if I try to listen the whole way through. I usually lose interest somewhere around The Ectopic Stroll or Rapid Calm. Turn on The Darkness is probably my favourite from the album, that song is kickass.

life in velvet is really good though it's like the best parts of the whole album summed up into 3:39
they should just start cutting their songs down in length again, it's why silent circus works so well imo. been blasting that a lot lately

yeah definitely, life in velvet is amazing. the album is growing on me but it could still do without rapid calm or memory palace imo, coma machine and king redeem are the best of the longer bunch to me
