I just thought since this was released on SideOneDummy Records it might've been an exception and never really bothered looking into it further

fair assumption, i also thought this wasnt going to be free when i heard it was coming out on SOD but alas, they're a really nice label! i like that both them and Asian Man have that attitude towards Jeff's music; that it's not all about the profit, although i suspect Jeff might not have put up a free download if the label had asked him not to
