This album is pretty fantastic.
No rating yet, but I did get to see them perform a handful of these tracks last week and GOD DAMN they did a great job. The title track is TITS live.

The songs are incredible live! I heard them play I Shot An Arrow, Big Dark Love, and Strange Eyes back in October or November. Also I'll be seeing them play in a cave this summer thanks to their recent Kickstarter, and I'm SO stoked. It's gonna be rad as hell.

The title track is hot damn. Solid 4, no questions asked.

| |
Damn. I really didn't feel this.

The drums and bass sound really weird. The drums kind of sound like a drum machine which I don't think works for this band at all

Title sounds like an interracial adult flick from the 70's

the production on this is a huge turn off, but the songwriting feels weak for this band too.

This album sounds awesome. Murder by Death keeps churning out quality music. I like this better than their last two.
|

No way this is better than Bitter Drink, dude.

I just watched their AudioTree performance and god damn i NEED to get back into this band. I used to love them and then just dropped off but they still sound incredible.

I hear you, man. They were a favorite of mine for a while, but I kind of dropped off for magpie an bitter drink. They are good, don't get me wrong, but they didn't pull me in like their other stuff. I love this album still, my only complaint is how short some of the songs are- especially when they experiment with the more poppy stuff.

Bitter Drink is their second best. This is their worst IMO

Who Will Survive?

That one is tasty.
It's a toss up between In Bocca Al Lupo and Red of Tooth and Claw for me, with Who Will Survive right behind them.
|
| |
Red of Tooth is my fav. You can't beat the combo of Comin' Home, Rumbrave, Fuego, and Steal Away.
Steal Away is my favorite song by them for sure.
|
| |
Might need to revisit Tooth and Claw, as well as check their debut
|
| |
yeah i just went back through it, solid album all the way through. gonna check out Bitter and than this now
