Badass track, love the random af elevator music at the end as well. I do prefer Omega over this since there is a bit too much filler. Also why the album had to split is beyond me, just take out The Event and Four Lights and there you go, album fits on one disc.

Four lights is such a mood setter though. I agree with your thoughts on "The Event" though. That song seems to slow things down a bit and they could have easily picked something that would transition into "The Scourge" better.

Album isn't even an hour and a half long as it is. They only split it 'cause the album is over 80 minutes long which is more music than one disc can fit. Heavy Heart is definitely the most winey Spence sounds on the album for sure.

If this is as much of a mess as the first two songs are, then I seriously don't know what any of you are talking about. As far as I can tell this band is only good at making an interesting guitar tone. And that's a great thing to be good at. But the rest is a disaster.
