What's the purpose of releasing a full-length album in any genre?
But wouldn't it make more sense from a marketing stand-point to cut it into three individual EP's, add a couple remixes on each and then release them over the course of two months in order to create more hype?
A debut full-length release from a relatively big-name brand will always generate more "hype" than a few tracks with a couple of tacked-on remixes. Sure, dance music is built more around the single track, but there's still a huge audience out there who would rather have more now, than some spread out over a few months
