I agree with StreetlightRock...this is a bad version of Kid A

More like Kid B, really, since both albums were written at the same time. I still like this one better than Pablo Honey; "Pyramid Song", "I Might Be Wrong", "Like Spinning Plates" and "Life in a Glasshouse" are all winners in my book.

Well, they picked the Kid A songs over these for a reason...
And it is pretty obvious this is better than Pablo Honey. That goes without saying.

They didn't pick the Kid A songs over these, they just released them earlier. I think this completely stands up to Kid A. My favorite Radiohead album keeps shifting between the last three. I wonder what tomorrow will bring.

Sometimes this is my favorite Radiohead album, so all this hate makes me sad. =(.

Sometimes I sit in a dark room and hammer out "Pyramid Song" and croon out Thom's vocals. Not quite the same without the drum parts coming in, so I usually stamp out the beat with my free foot. It's incredibly cathartic in a near-pitch black room with a good piano.

I can understand people liking Kid A over OK Computer, but that is the only album that i can understand anyone putting over OK Computer...

I definitly prefer this album to Kid A. And it's becoming my favorite after OK Computer.

yeah this grew on me so much, I went from despising it to loving every track (except for Morning Bell, the Kid A one is way better)

this was the last album I got from this band, after In Rainbows (now only Pablo Honey is missing in my collection, but I don't count that as Radiohead from what I know about the singles).
In the short time I have it now (1 1/2 months), it has grown on me and is my third favourite Radiohead album now, after Kid A and In Rainbows. But it has the potential to grow even more, i've got the feeling that this could become a 5 star album in the end. This Message Edited On 02.15.08

Life In a Glasshouse was always one of my favorites, then one day Like Spinning Plates just knocked my socks off.

Album is great, but can't stand up to Kid A/OK Computer/In Rainbows just yet. We'll see. Pyramid Song, You and Whose Army?, I Might Be Wrong, and Life in a Glass House are classics though.

I love this, but really, it's no OK Computer, calm down. In Rainbows is there worst CD by the way.
