the musicianship, vocals, lyrics, production, execution, and melodies are just on another level. this was an extreme
step up and fred was the far superior guitarist who brought way more to the table in taking back sunday. the songs
are more infectious and have way more depth in them with a dual chemistry that adam and john didn't nail hospital.

wow andcas I completely disagree TYAF was way more infectious and had vocal melodies that are damn near impossible not to sing-a-long with while jamming... and as much as I enjoy fred I prefer TAYF-era John.
This album does rule, though and the lyrics have always been pretty solid for most tbs releases imo
except christ hitting a child
