You're right, perhaps I misinterpreted what you said, Deviant; it is definitely a standout. I certainly wasn't "gravitated" toward or around it though.
I got the impression that it was the favorite of the album mostly from YouTube comments, tbh.
On a side note, my faves were CIRCLONT14 and PAPAT4. pseudotimestretch wuld have been my fave had it been longer than 58 seconds long

This kid >>>>>> the internet music nerd guy. For real.
Crazy how he is so young and is a big fan but didn't jump at the chance to review it right after it was released and #trending or whatever. He's all mature about it, giving it a month to settle in and shit talking about how he listens to SAW II on a regular basis now? wtf? Aren't you a part of the mountain dew-fueled, ADHD-afflicted, super impulsive, immediate gratification generation? What happened, man?

I like this (a good bit even), but I think of his full lengths, it's my least favorite.

Don't provoke him. He's obviously emotionally unhinged about Richard's return and has already changed his rating from a 3.5 to a 3.0. He also expressed interest in 2ing this because someone was enjoying this a little too much for his liking. The threat is real guys.

listening to Drukqs for the second time now and feel like people sold it short. super impressive. it's long but not excessively. only 25 minutes more than SAW 85-92 and way more varied.

Depends how you listen to it, I guess. First listen is all the way through, obviously and I admittedly struggled with that

Yeah, Drukqs was a lot to process when I first heard it too. Not just the duration but the fact that you're constantly jumping out of tracks like Meltphace6 and into stuff like Kesson Dalef, or Mt. St Michel into Avril 14th, etc. It kinda speeds up and slows back down over and over.
And then there's gwarek 2.... which I don't even want to know about who was murdered in the making of that sample.
