Great stuff Jacob. We share similar sentiments on this, and after it grew on me initially it's grown off since.

Another great review, they seem to get better and better.

Maybe I'll check out this band's early output but it sounds like every post-rock group ever to me lol

i think this is better as background music, not nearly as good as the other albums but still decent

Although I wholeheartedly disagreed with your rating on this album, omaha, I'm starting to think you may have been more right than I. This album doesn't play as well now that I've listened to it a handful of times.

Just saw them live (haven't heard this album yet) but I'm less excited now since the new songs really didn't have the emotional impact of the other stuff. Still decent songs but not gut wrenching
