Final Journey is great but I still need to hear this too. I fear that it will be exactly like the previous two, and I guess I'm quite right.

'I fear that it will be exactly like the previous two, and I guess I'm quite right.'

I thought BOTN destroyed Stalingrad. If they regressed here with equal proportion from the previous, than I certainly won't care for this

I thought Stalingrad was more solid than BOTN but I'm probably going to lower my rating because it's been a whole year since my last complete spin, haha. Some nice jams in both though.

all 3 are solid, enjoyable but ultimately forgettable heavy metal albums as played by 50 year old dads.

There are little to almost no 50 year old dads playing these last 3 albums.....classic Accept perhaps but not these

Wow this turned out way better then expected, I prefer this over the other two Tornillo albums by far. Favorite tracks are Dark Side of My Heart, Trail of Tears, Final Journey and the fantastic 200 Years.

Album is solid, but sounds exactly like Blood and Stalingrad, the bands needs to replace Andy Speap, listen to the classic accept albums none of them soudn the same

"sounds exactly like Blood and Stalingrad"

Sounds like a better version of BOTN and Stalingrad to me. While the previous two albums felt a bit stale, Blind Rage manages to be engaging and even infectious at times. After the first two tracks, which are probably the less original ones, I don't see any weak moment.

With "a bit stale" I meant that those two albums tend to feel too solid for their own good. I still think that they are great albums (re-listened in full before going into Blind Rage) but I couldn't help but notice that it was a bit hard to not skip a track or two, especially in Stalingrad. That's why I'm enjoying Blind Rage so much, it flows nicely and it doesn't tire me at all.

Of course, props to Accept for being literally reborn with an album (BOTN) that crushed a streak of mediocre-to-okay releases. For the record, I consider Russian Roulette to be the last great 'classic Accept' record, and I like some tracks from Predator too (which is a bit underrated, in my opinion).

Thats exactly it, Accept and Tornillo delivered an awesome record after a long time in hibernation. Stalingrad was a solid release but was more of the same just not as good, which was expected. I'm listening to this one right now and it's exactly what I expected it to be.

I rank these last 3 in chronological order of release, easily.
