Weird that you see it that way, and is that how most Australians view it? Because I'm pretty sure the majority of NZer's see them as an aussie band

Faceless interchangeable is a bit strong Hester was there for their whole classic run wasn't he? rip hard
And yeah Split Enz do have some jams but christ their early stuff was fucking weird

I'd say they're one of those NZ bands that Australia kinda stole like I mentioned in the review
|
| |
But how can Australia have stolen them when 75% of the band is Australian? And the band was formed in Australia
|
| |
I dunno, I don't really know much about the history of the band, and I was listening to them when I was seven so its not like the logic had to make sense

Great album.
In response to this guy - "Weird that you see it that way, and is that how most Australians view it? Because I'm pretty sure the
majority of NZer's see them as an aussie band"
Dude, if that were true why is their success so much greater in NZ? They have debuted FIVE albums at number one on the NZ albums
chart and, to quote the bands social media "have had the most #1 albums of any NZ band." The majority of New Zealanders do not
see them as an Aussie band. I have no idea where you are pulling that one from.
