If you listen to this close enough, you'll realize that if they just downtuned/distorted the guitars,

and Mike was growling half the lyrics, it would sounds like their metal side. The song structures are

really REALLY close to what they've done on previous albums.

w/e guys, I heard it the first time I played the first track off this. The dynamic of the tracks, and the the different moods and movements they go through really hasn't changed much.

yeah but it doesn't and it isn't. And Mike's vocals are meh here and the music wasn't interesting when I tried to actually listen to it.

Yeah they managed to almost always keep the music interesting with all the weird twists and turns in the songwriting and very enjoyable drumming
