No way, it's definitely "dangerous curves", don't trust anything you read.

Hey look, I've got that awesome robocop Science Police shirt. I love that song. But it takes me out of the "lif is desperate despair" zone when I'm listening to the album.

I was talking about the ' they swallow lives ' part.

I can't argue that those tWo songs, kill the 'mood', but in my opinion, so does shit like Mario having an existential crisis and the 'time is running out' clip.... from....

actually no I guess those examples only accentuate the lyrical themes

Ha I always thought the Mario bit during Failure of All Things was a clever answer to people still calling them nintendocore, buried under the incredible emotional weight of that song.

Guess I sound like a fanboy

Nah, I got that vibe too when it came out. And I love that they threw it in. The keys in that song are so slick.

I don't know if it was a nod to 'nintendocore' they've always used Nintendo references in a dark, meta sort of way.

Most of us talking about this alBum almost ten years later sOund like fanboys, it's Cool, embrace it

Golden mummy is the best thing they've ever written. I can't listen to it when I smoke or it legit gives me acid flashbacks

I remember posting some bullshit last.fm comment back in 2009 "all the tracks are good except Golden Mummy Golden Bird which sounds like filler" or some shit.

What a naive fool I was. That, Desperate Living, Arrive and Rape Escape are pinnacles.

"It’s straightforward, light hearted anthems about being a badass band. Happy synths, bouncy drums and “HORSE the mother ***ing Band mother ***er” following a by the book breakdown"

no , its about suicide by art. LIVING AT THE TOP/WHEN YOURE AT THE FUCKIN BOTTOM

did you read the Second half of the paragraph? or understand the summary? or do you suffer from a short attention span and lack ability to grasp simple concepts?
