I actually love that looping at the end of Humble. It's really cool.

It's preposterous how good this album is. Not only does it not have a bad song on it, it doesn't even have a bad moment.

Fuck.

The way Deep Peace builds from the guitar break at 4:00 to the vocal harmonies around 5:30 or so brings a

tear to me eye!

That calm ascending moment around the five minute mark in deep peace is tearjerkingly beautiful. Thinking about 5.0ing this album

Shouldn't be something you have to think about ;)

In my eyes (well, ears), this album is far superior to Ocean Machine as a whole, structurally and instrumentally. The only spot I'd say it's arguable is the last three tracks on Ocean Machine. Devin really put his heart into those last three songs (he does on every track, but it really stands out starting with Funeral)

Nah I wouldn't say this is far superior, though he did improve on the production on here. I still feel like in terms of emotion, Ocean Machine will never be topped for him.

I think thematically this is the best he's done though, the whole thing is so cohesive and full sounding its like you can SEE it on top of hearing it.

So, while I agree Ocean Machine is more emotional than this, I might argue that AE has much more emotion to it, especially in regards to the vocals. Deadhead brings tears to my eyes every time

Ya AE fights hard for the top spot sometimes. @CK Suicide is the song that gets me on there.
