at the very least, the farther they move from that electric guitar that pops up in stuff like 'instrospect' and 'forget love', the better
i'll listen to washed out now though

I just listened to one of the songs silent posted. It was interesting.
I didn't think I was going to like that Washed Out song lakes posted, but when the vocals came in, it kind of sold it for me.

Yeah I did when I had posted!
It was a great show! The band was on point, Stephen had even more energy than usual, and they had a great song selection. 'Hello Alone' and 'Time and Confusion' (the two weakest songs they played) actually really rocked live. And they played 'The Haunting'!!! And of course 'fin', with a touch of 'Harbinger' at the end.
I feel kind of bad because our crowd was pretty terrible. Not nearly enough bouncing and singing except on the singles. I guess that's why the Anberlin FB page didn't post anything positive about the Anaheim crowd lol
Haha for real though, it was a great last show. Though I have come to the conclusion that concerts are way more fun with someone to share it with. When I heard the intro guitars for 'fin' I was going crazy and the people around me (I wasn't at the front with the fanboys I guess) didn't seem like they even knew the song.

There were a couple of other fanboys (stephen said one chick was at her 107th concert wtf) but yeah overall the crowd sucked balls. I had the flu (or flu-like symptoms, I guess) when I went back in 2011 (a few days before you, Lakes) in LA so I was out of it but the crowd was fantastic there. Stupid entitled Orange County pricks lol.
When they left after the Feel Good Drag, they were just chanting "ANBERLIN ANBERLIN" while some people were exiting, I'm like wtf yell encore you dumbasses. I knew they'd encore but still, save the chant for after they're totally done. Also, during Dismantle. Repair, they fucking cheered and clapped at the part where it's quiet before the final chorus. Like seriously? Ugh
Also speaking of Lakes, the opening band was called Lakes. Didn't really like em though, all their songs sounded the same.

The only thing that can stop me from going to a Texas show is if they sell out the day of the concert. Unless I drive 10 hours this Tuesday or Wednesday to go buy a ticket.

Sucks about the crowd, but at least the band did a good job.

Lol honestly the crowd wasn't that bad, like they actually cheered during a lot of the non-singles, like The Resistance, Godspeed, Time & Confusion, etc. Like not enough to make the night worse. It is funny how bad the crowd was relative to what you'd expect given it's the final show and all tho

That's cool. I'm just looking forward to seeing them headline. The only time I saw them play was for a half hour as an opener for a radio station concert back in like 2007 or something in Kansas City.

It's hard to remember when I last saw them. I thought it was definitely 2006, but now I feel like it could have been 2005.
