Tim did say that the song inspirations were hard to come by, so I wouldn't be surprised if this felt lacking. I've only heard it once, though, and it felt alright to me. I need to listen to it another couple of times to arrive at a decision, though.

Good review, man; felt that it lacked a bit of balance, but it was well-written.

Tim sounds like he's falling asleep half the time on this to be honest.

I don't know what your talking about by being uninspired (except on Methadone and Awake Too Long) he sounds pretty fucking pumped on most of the tracks (especially A Beautiful Indifference).

I guess if your the type of person who still hopes Rise Against will make RPM again, this is disappointing. I would disagree and even say you contradicted yourself, as the second paragraph talks about how unexpected the album is musically (I would agree), but then later you call it bland and uninspired. Also Bridges isn't a bad closer, its just a sad and melancholy one, but there's nothing wrong with that.

Endgame is better than this, come on. This rarely has any memorable moments or a lasting value for that matter. The only tracks on here that are worthy of their discography are Eco-Terrorist, t/t and Zero Visibility.

I guess if you're a fan it's easy to tolerate anything by RA because overall they write decent songs, but this one has too many 'just decent' songs and very few impressive ones.

Yeah not to mention Endgame's lead single actually made me interested in the album, this one's really turned me off from it.

I won't deny it's a good song, I just wish the rest of the album was that good.
