i dunno i really like the idea of dark atmospheric alt country i just think its a bit same-y (boring), too long, and townsend can be a bit too self-indulgent for me
i wish there were more good alt country tho tbh (although maybe im just unaware of it all)

On first listen i'd have to say Flight and especially The Bridge are the best tracks, with The Bridge being my favorite. For such a detailed, layered album, it's a pretty difficult and intense listen for being as long as it is, would definitely have to give more listens to properly rate this but on first listen it certainly moved me even I found it a chore occasionally.
