you guys are daft; lemons is a masterpiece. certainly not 'ultra' laid back

well slug's lazy ass delivery doesn't help matters, but yeah compare lemons to everything that came before it and it's a much softer/chiller album. and it was also their weakest album to date (miles better than the garbage they've released since then).
don't get me wrong i love atmosphere and have for well over a decade, i just can't behind most of their newer material.

i dunno, there's just a few tracks on there that underwhelm, but it also has some of their best work too.

My favourite tribute to Eye is still Micheal by Sadistik but Flicker is a close second. Damn.

I enjoy it, but it's almost the very definition of middle-of-the-road. Plus you can't deny that Atmosphere are a shadow of their former selves

It ain't on par with Lemons or GLU but it's still damn good in my opinion. Then again, I guess this style of rap and Ant's production speak to me on a nostalgic level as well. Always loved the way these guys can make slide and lap guitars work in hip-hop.

I absolutely hated this album. It just feels so stale, frankly boredom set in. Atmosphere never had a particularly great delivery or even lyrically solid, but this album really shows his flaws. I'm in the minority here, but I disliked this through and through.
