I'm not the biggest Agalloch fan, Ashes is the only album by them I really love, but at the same time I've haven't heard anything by them that I actually dislike.

But yeah ok, maybe I'll check this out at some point.

Yeah, I hyped the hell outa this due to Faustian Echoes but I was ultimately crushed by disappointed in hopes of a return to a more neofolk and atmospheric style.

I haven't really seen anyone downright hate this album. I think that most are just underwhelmed by it when

it's compared to the rest of the discography. It's an enjoyable album, but I wish they had cut out the

opening track completely and opened with the Musk Ox interlude.

Think I may make a last.fm tonight

I just made one a few days ago haha. i had it once but couldn't stand the last.fm app. It's pretty cool I guess, it scrobbles everything i listen to on Spotify as well as my music library on my phone through an app called iScrob.

I'm about to give this my first listen from front to back.
