Imagine Dragons EP was really good. And a few other EP songs overpower some of the album songs.

If it weren't for It's Time being so catchy, Night Visions would be a hard 1.

I negged this review. I agree with your sentiment, it's just that this needs cleaned up quite a bit. Spelling and grammatical errors abound. Otherwise good review.

Instead of neg'n and telling me I have errors, how about you just help out and point a few so im not sitting here scratching my head wondering what the errors are and suffering from a 2% rep drop ._.

Ah, don't pay attention to that neg. It happens sometimes. But speaking of which, I would still like you to clean up that summary, it's really redundant.

Sorry, man, I didn't mean to be mean about it. I thought you would able to correct the errors yourself, but I guess not. Just trying to be helpful. Here are some examples:

" Imagine Dragon’s debut “Night Visions” "
Should be Dragons'

"the rest belonged rather to previous release “Continued Silence” from earlier in the year, or even the EP’s dating back to 2009."
Should be "either", not "rather"

"While it worked in their favor for “Radioactive” with its Dubstep-esque bassline and punch “dance-to-it” kicks" I think you mean "punchy" dance-to-it kicks.

Just examples of little things that could make your review better. Otherwise, like I said before, I like the review overall.

Well, sometimes those people can be absolute dicks about it. Not saying Ocean was a jerk but negging for just those errors and such wasn't really nice.

^I hear what you're saying, and if I offended anybody, I am sorry. I just feel like, if someone is going to take the time to write a thoughtful review (about anything), why not get it completely right the first time? I guess I didn't think negging was taken so seriously. :/

It depends on what exactly you're negging the review for. If you neg a review just because you disagree with it then that vote is most likely going to get wiped. In your case, you negged because of a few grammar mistakes which imo is pretty ridiculous. I would advise you to point out the mistakes to the reviewer instead of negging a review. It just makes you look bad.

Las Vegas quartet Imagine Dragons just can't stop releasing EPs, the latest of which is titled 'The Archive'. Again, all 5 of these tunes have been heard before, but in this case did not make the original version of the band's debut LP 'Night Visions'. To be fair, practically all but the tacky 'America' could have snuck on, with Imagine Dragons showing consistency & versatility here, without ever reaching the heights of 'It's Time'. So yes, it's worth a listen in isolation, but it's well overdue that the band stop releasing so many combinations of the same old songs. Recommended Tracks: Round and Round, Selene & The River.
