I hate Dallas, he couldnt hold a scream to save his life. The music they played back then was great, alot more double kick
|
| |
He couldn't hold a scream on The Changing of Times, but he definitely held his own on teh first two.
|
| |
Act of Depression and Cries of The Past yeah, I'll agree with you on that but The Changing of Times was not his highlight
|
| |
Definitely. He sounded like poo on that album.

who cares what genre they are? music is music and if you like you like it...if you dont you dont...
|
| |
its a great ***king album but its to little screaming The Changingof times is a much heavier album and better the drums on this album are not so complicated on the otherhand on The Changing of times they are. There is more bass drum on TCOT. but in short this is a great album and so is The band

A lot of people recommended 'Reinventing your exit' to me, and that I should check the album out. I listened to the song on purevolume, and IMO it sounds like Hawthorne Heights...
I'll give the album a shot, but from what I heard so far, it can not keep up with the craze created around it

^lol... that's all I have to say about that.^
I have not bought this album but I've listened to at least 1/2 the tracks multiple times, it's not bad it's just not as good as TCOT which is amazing. Long screams=way overrated the vocals in TCOT add so much contrast to the melodic post-hardcore sound of their music. Took me a couple of listens but I've fallen in love with the sound of old Underoath.

TCOT = old Underoath? Psh.

This was the first screaming album I ever heard I was really disapointed. Then I picked up Fear Before the March of Flames thats real music right there.

one of my favorites

i really do like this album, young and aspiring is my favorite song on the album. the guitar work is very solid, but i have to know, were the guitarists more technical (if that makes sense) on any of their older stuff, because, i mean, they were a very metal band, so i've heard, and most metal bands feature some crazy technical guitar work.

The guitars are sick on Act of Depression, The Changing Of Times and especially Cries Of The Past.

i will have to hear that, i really want to see what they're capable of. did you read that article that said that the guitar breakdowns are really heavy on their upcoming album? exciting.

This review sucks. I don't have to be the one to tell you Aaron Gillispie does 99% of the singing.
