Seriously, 4.0? It is average at best. Doesn't add anything new, and the songs are plain boring and repetitive.

Love the review, you've always had a great writing style and I think when you become impassioned about an album, it shows in the way you word descriptions (clear no less).

Thanks man, appreciate the kind words. It also helps that I am extremely familiar with this band's discography so that helps to connect some dots between past albums and this one.

I read your review before it was taken down (likely due to the fact that is not released/streaming anywhere yet so had to have reviewed a poor-quality leak) you said that "Ephemeral" was "a great track" on the EP. Not even sure how to respond to that.

'Not only did they find a niche within the cut-and-dry confines of melodic death metal, the found an identity and a soul.'

^Fix that. Other than that, it was a good read.

Whoops, thanks for pointing that out, fixed it. I swear no matter how many times I proofread something always falls through.

I remember I once misspelt the word 'crescendo' and when somebody pointed that out I completely didn't know what he was on about... lol

Yah, it's much harder to find flaws in your own work because you know exactly what you're trying to say

It leaked, but it's not a high quality version. Fighting the urge to listen to it, want my first run through to be high quality.
