This band isn't wanky they just use amazing guitar playing techniques to play insane rhythms and melodies in their music. It's structured in a pretty straightforward way on each album though, especially on here actually. The new one kind of goes all out with really technical compositions, but some of the magic is lost that's on here, despite how much I still like it.

Hey, if they keep this pattern going, the follow-up album will be more decisive and celebrated.

'The new one had little to no personality though. It was straight up robotic compared to this.'

It was okay... but you're right. It didn't feel genuine at all. I've only heard it 2 or 3 times.

Madness of Many is a great album. Don't like a few of the tracks in the middle but overall it's a solid effort. The production makes it more listenable than most.

Madness of Many was fun for a week or two, then o never listened to it again. Shit has zero replay value.

The first 3 tracks are the most focused songs I've heard in long time from them. It's the Bulb sounding major scale shit in the middle that bores me.

yea private visions & the glass bridge especially are lame. but inner assassins, cognitive contortions, the brain dance and ectogenesis are top tier AAL songs

I like this quite a bit more than the s/t. Don't have much interest in the other two.

I think the only tracks from the new album i come back to are Private Visions of the World, Brain Dance and Glass Bridge, but is it just me or does Motion have a much better production?

This one was just so much more vibrant than "The Madness of Many" although, to be fair, I probably need spin that one again soon. I found myself returning to this one WAAAAY more.
