Defence Mechanism is a great song. I didnt know there were something else interesting after Night and Tick Tock.

@Jethro This and March of Ghosts are both 4.5s for me, interesting is an understatement!

@JS how come it grew off you so much?!

I have no idea dude, I think the atmosphere is perfect, but a couple of the songs feel weaker than I remembered. This is a heap better than March of Ghosts though

Yeah like I said in the review, some of the songs wouldn't really function well on their own like I Was Never Here or Will to Live, but for me they fit perfectly into the album as a whole

Each to his own, I still love MoG, will hopefully review it someday

I completely agree with you about those songs though. But I realised this wasn't as good as Night or Tick Tock as well and had to bump it down cos I've 5'd those.

Still haven't heard that one all the way through.

Listened to Demon, it's really damn good, can't be sure exactly about it yet though, need a few more listens. My CD should arrive soon. It's probably their heaviest album, and they said themselves it's their most "difficult" and needs to grow

Listening to this all weekend. There's something about the vocalist I like, but it's all good. I want to check out the live album, London, to hear the live versions of these songs.

Awesome that you like it man! The vocalist is definitely something special, as well as the drummer - every time you listen you appreciate what he's doing even more

Saw this review a while ago, but I got sidetracked and forgot to comment. Glad to see a review for this, mate. Nice job.

No idea how March of Ghosts has a higher rating. It's vastly inferior to this.
