Honestly it doesn't really matter. They have their fans, have stuck around, and didn't have the kind of breakups AiC and SG had. Although in AiC's case, they lost a vocalist, which was painful.
I'm not sure what caused SG's breakup, but I'm glad they're back together.
Ofc, Nirvana lost Kurt, and it seems they'll never have a reunion.
