"I wish that was the solution. I think the vox bothers me more than anything else."

I think the vox are pretty much perfect for this style of music. Definitely the aspect that keeps me coming back to GM.

JB's vocals are one of the best things about Grand Magus

The previous releases are more interesting, in my opinion.

Pretty good review, as always.

What? Only a 3. You must be trippin' Notrap. This is their best album.

The album didn't impress me much, but I'll give it another spin.

It's one of their strongest tracks. It makes me fist-pump hard everytime I hear it.

This is exactly what I would want if I was looking for modern traditional metal.

I just can't get over how absolutely badass Dominator is.

"I had the same attitude (exploring new territories and stuff) in my review of The Hunt, Notrap. Now, I think you don't really have to be terribly adventurous if you play your music as well as these guys. This is their most consistent album yet."

Sure Greg, music doesn't have to be adventurous, sometimes I just want to hear some cool predictable rock. But honestly, I find it a cover album, pretty competent, but still a cover album (Priest).

This is pretty great. The second half isn't as strong as the first, which was a little disappointing.

First Grand Magus album I've heard right through, though - very enjoyable, kick ass heavy metal.

Also, good review Greg.

This is a perfectly decent metal album. Nothing special but nothing bad either.

I feel so guilty listening to this, but I f**king love it.

Also, that album art.
