This isn't exactly moving on, it's creating the atmosphere of previous albums and forgetting the exciting parts that when combined created an intense experience. And most people get fat and lazy as they grow older so I'm still right in calling this lazy hahahaha.

This has plenty of exciting parts.

When you're dealing with black metal and the notorious fanbase the most ballsy thing you can do is get away from those sounds with full awareness of how much backlash will be thrown your way.

Then again Alcest got plenty of shit already for being pretty and whatnot.

I think we forget that he hasn't really been bm since Tristess. His music was always very flowery.
