Nice review, but literally Meshuggah should not be mentioned in anything having to do with Periphery, unless you're talking about how vastly different the vocals and song structure are.

If I heard Meshuggah write a song anywhere near the notes and structure of a Periphery song then it'd be Meshuggah's biggest advancement since they played the second note of their first album.

Meshuggah is boring as fuck. Sorry, but when people talk about how plain djent is, I think of Meshuggah.

Wow, are you dumb? Not because you don't like meshuggah but you really think Meshuggah has nothing to do with Periphery?

Old Meshuggah is gold, I'll admit to that. But then they got fuckin' lazy.

And I reinforce.

FUCKIN' LAZY.

Yeah, good riffs, but all the great stuff about their early stuff is completely gone. Constant djenty riffs, sure... but a whole album of that. Lazy.

And periphery hasn't done the same exact thing on periphery II? Can't vouch for this but your argument is dumb. Not only that but we're not talking about if you like Meshuggah or not. You're denying they have anything to do with Periphery which is completely untrue.
