heard it for the first in a while today, it's not really as bad as I put out to be on this



it's a harmless tune but nothing too astonishing

Blind is amazing, Cool Water is amazing, Ruby Dear is great, (Nothing But) Flowers, Mr. Jones and Big Daddy are good...



However the rest of this album is so bland, band was running out of ideas and was incredibly strained. If anything it' probably a good thing they broke up after this since I feel like a follow up to this probably would have been actually shit.

I actually like Little Creatures considerably about as much as I like 77.... have them both 4'd.



While I agree that True Stories isn't great, I still think it's better than this, at least they were trying to tread new ground on it, plus it has "Papa Legba" which is amazing. Album is like a 3/5 for me...

yeah I just never found that stretch after Speaking to be that stellar, it just sounds very lifeless (considering I'm basing this on my thoughts from the winter of '13 when I jammed these guys non-stop this means absolutely nothing now tbh) compared to the other stuff and this.



You ever check the True Stories movie? Very underrated, though the soundtrack to it hasn't been put out on CD i think.
