The production is alright, no qualms about it. Much better than on "tomorrow we die alive" at the very least.

A great album though marred sometimes by stale musicianship, as on the latter half of 'Disconnect' and somewhat self-indulgent 'Neo Seoul'. That said, there's plenty of good to outshine the bad here, as on the beautiful intros of 'Disconnect' and 'Virga', not to mention the surprising amount of melody throughout the album in general.

band has always ruled.

They are a great band. They just need to stop producing their own material.
I think Tesseract will age better than these guys though. They only really do metal, I don't see their next album being overly interesting tbh

Can't get enough of the solo in Nine Summers

still hate their new singer so generic
|

Really? I find his style very unmemorable, but his voice itself is pretty distinctive.
And I mean, at this point, if screamed vocals aren't completely shit, I can at least handle it.

original rareform was sooooooo much better before they rerecorded it without meshuggah vocals
|
| |
Original Rareform> agreed. I get that it would be hard to come in and sing to someone else's lyrics though.

What do you mean new? Oh, I get it, they replaced him as early as Rareform. Not so new, then! gotta check out the previous guy

previous guy (forging and OG rareform) has character but is pretty bad.

damn, he actually sounds better. somewhat less like a teenage boy and more like a man with a beard. Also, the original release of the album doesn't sound half bad - I expected some shit like saucepan snares or something that would at least justify a re-release.

if any album has such shit quality that it needs to be re released its The Fantasy Effect by Reflections

Actually if "Allegiance" by ABRB were re-released I'd probably listen to it all the way through. I can't stand those cliche deathcore thrashcan snares and venomous guitar sound. The Price of Existence has similar problems too.
