This album is full of fun, catchy and heavy as fuck riffs. The vocalist has a killer range and the bass is so apparent. I love it!

There are some really good riffs but it gets bogged down sometimes because most of them aren't extremely cohesive

Depends

do you want djent with your metalcore?

for reference, here's the best song off of the album: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YM32llGYhoE

I enjoy good djent, I enjoy good metalcore, I don't mind genre mashups.

Listened to the song. It's them alright. Not bad, kinda mellow. But if it's really the best on the album, then the album's pretty underwhelming. will give it a shot though

Here are the basics:

Good:
Solos and guitar work are top notch
Groovy
Catchy

Bad:
Production, bass is way too low in the mix, vocals are way too high
Djent parts are too chuggy and generic
Not very technical
Vocals are cringy sometimes

Why are people complaining about bass on a metal album.. are you new to the genre?

what? low end is always important in any style of music

also bass has long been necessary for a good metal album

I'm listening to this now, this is pretty fun. And I'm happy they went more for an introspective feel than happy-go-lucky teencore as they did on "in dreams"
