My god the new one is a chugfest, there's like twice the amount of breakdowns they had in this one

Of course I love it

Dat MLG Trumpet though, just makes me smile

Jokes aside, they'll never top Rareform and that's a fact. The new disc is not at all a re-invention of their sound but it's darker, hits harder and overall all tracks are quite solid. Still my favourite go-to band when I just want to bob my head

nooooooooooo they were already at more than maximum capacity for acceptable amount of boring breakdowns.

Man that solo section in Nine Summers is the best solo they've ever recorded

Yeah those 2 are some of their best songs. Certainly the best 2 on this album.

Ok true, I did forget the Ometh solo. It would come in second place however.

The Nine Summers solo gets extra points because it's more dynamic and composed way better and just way more interesting. The Ometh solo is a bit sloppy, but whether intentional or not, it still sounds great.

this is fun, like the rest of their albums (except their debut, which sucks).

But the debut has Fingers Like Daggers and A Steady Decline, which are some of their best songs.
