If you want the same riff/ blast/ belch thrown at you for 50 mins, go for it! They dropped the dynamics hard on this.

I was being sarcastic guys, 2013 had plenty of great black metal like Paysage d'Hiver, the Axis of Light/Death Fortress split, Arnaut Pavle, Fell Voices, Carved Cross/Cave Ritual split, and Torture Chain if you want me to namedrop. I was just making fun of that dude who said this was the only real black metal release of 2013. In other news I was going to see these guys next month but the bill sucks, they're playing with Behemoth and Goatwhore and it's totally not worth the money just to see Inquisition. Disappointing.

"Wizard shows definite signs of jealous envy through his multiple hater posts. Yes its that obvious but please continue." and on and on and... my point proven

Just saw these guys live the other night ,they schooled the 700+ of us in the crowd who all seemed to enjoy the old and new songs including the encores.

You boys should get a room, your envy is showing in public but im sure you only hate to be cool. Its the bm trend after all. You should really listen to obscure verses without the ego problem blurring your conscious.

Apparently members of this band are Nazis. Pretty excited about this, are you? Do you even care?

Brings the riffs, but overall it's pretty monotonous.

There's not really any evidence that they're Nazis beyond "worked with known white supremacists," which I'm sure has happened to more than a few black metal bands who aren't part of the NS scene.

I would love to see them perform their old songs. And it's a show, everything the band plays (especially if the goods outweigh the old) would make people go nuts. If they played this in it's entirety, good night!

What are you, 7?

Bro Behemoth's new album rules. And I'm sure Goatwhore are decent live, too.

I respect both of those bands too. They have a great stage show to go with the music.

behemoth and goatwhore are a joke. all nergal can do anymore is play the same tired cliches like walk
around stage with an urn of burning ashes or wear some horned anubis mask and id be surprised if they
ever wrote a song that didnt include some kinda battle chanting so the crowd could feel involved and
fist pump

inquisition dolls themselves up in corpsepaint and whatnot but they dont use their getup as a crutch
to support their shit songwriting like the aforementioned bands

Bro, do you even Satanist? It rules. Keep in mind I wasn't even that big a fan of Demigod.

It's funny you mention that cause I keep meaning to check it out but something else ends up catching my ear instead.

I thought you liked these guys? And there's a big difference between respecting bands (Nergal almost died and Goatwhore members lost their entire homes in Katrina plus were also part of Soilent Green). What the fuck have these guys become? I've loved everything up to this album and then....poof...they hit the auto-pilot button and forgot that they used the same riff throughout the entire album.

my previous post may have been misconstrued a bit. wasnt implying inquisition was crappy at all because i do love them from
the bottom of my heart though i agree the songwriting on this album was noticeably lax from the previous

That's why I gripe about this album so much. Their first few albums are bm masterpieces in my mind. I still respect your opinion over most on this site dude.
