That's a good point, but this is so well executed, and that production ughh

Speaking of Nocturnal Silence, jammed it the other day after a long time and it's just so good, and pretty unique for its time too

Sweven is infinitely more dynamic and varied yeah, but the two really shouldn't be compared (only
reason they are is because of Hyp). One is a blend of psych, prog and sonorous dm and the other is a
no-holds-barred old school revival record with hardcore punk undertones.

Both rule in their own rights it just depends on what you're after in albums like these. Also both are
better than the new DC.

"Also both are better than the new DC."

this is a bold statement, calm down now... New DC is incredible, it's better than every dm album released last year imo

im comparin em cos theyre like the only dm ive heard this year lol, and the differences are the reason i dig sweven so much more, i'm not really big on revival stuff as you know, but this is as good as that kind of shit gets agreed

You need to jam Artificial Brain Kill, especially since you liked Colored Sands. Also Howls of Ebb, weirdo dm, you might dig, you might not but it's worth a shot.

I prefer nekropsalm's more doomy psych-infused approach than the hardcore punk and blackened influences found on this.
It's still great, but preferred their last over this
