They have plenty of misfires. This and Dogma are their best albums.

I still find Toxic so much more enjoyable than the random newer pre-Dogma tracks I know, but that's just me, I guess.

In other news, Distress and Coma bangs.

Yeah, I suppose it's a similar case with Diru's Vulgar when it comes to our preferences, haha.
That's a nice one.

The Invisible Walls, 13 Stairs [-] 1, and Distress & Coma are pretty dope.
You know what? I found something:

LOL There is no way on God's green earth that Buck-Tick are contenders; they're far better than that status, come on now. Scandal and Uverworld also don't deserve to be in the Top Ten, IMO. I still can't believe this group is #1, though.

Let me just say that I think it's super cool that people are still having a conversation about this album and gazette in general now that it's 2016. this album came out when I was in high school and I listened the shit out of gazette back then. Also really love this album and listen to get inspiration for my own writing all the time.

By a strange string of events I ended up visiting a GazettE show. It was good. Not much to listen to but they work the crowd well.
Starting to think "Dim" was more of an accident on the road to the Kingdom of Average

Did they play anything off it?

Cap giving this the same rating as 13kai makes me wanna gag tbh :P
Despite that I'd still go to see these if someone wanted me too.

Still jamming "13Stairs[-]1" and "Distress and Coma" very very hard.

This band is a guilty pleasure of mine...and I hate to even come out and admit it. That said, I do think post-Division is a load of mediocrity. I cut the line at that album because it was the last album of theirs I actually liked a lot. I even liked parts of Toxic too.

this, Division, and Dogma are all solid albums and I have no qualms about saying it

"this, Division, and Dogma are all solid albums"
More power to you if you liked Dogma, but personally for me Dogma had its moments but in the end fell flat w/a bunch so-so or unmemorable songs in the middle of the album. The Undying single on the other hand I really liked and wished Dogma had more of.
I think I overstretched a bit when I said they're a "guilty pleasure" band for me and it does sounds silly, but I feel like I have to be very careful w/what I say 'bout the band here (being sort of new to the Sputnik community and all) cause I feel like the GazettE's a strong love/hate band here 'round these parts...

Well there's no fanboys of the band on the site (thank God), but there's a few detractors. I love to pick of them but there's far, far worse from Visual Kei.

"There's far, far worse from Visual Kei"
Oh yeah, for sure there's way worse. I've heard some but can't name any of them to save my life cause it happened by pure accident, LOL. These guys, Dir En Grey, X Japan, and a little bit of Luna Sea is pretty much the only visual kei that I listen to though I'd argue DEG is no longer visual kei.
