I listened to this a bit more yesterday and it finally got me hooked, jamming it now. It's pretty fucking sweet on so many levels. On the one hand it sounds like your typical teenage innocentcore, but it has more than average melodic hardcore riffing patterns and melodic mannerisms, so it's more than just your average metal with breakdowns. Not to mention the futuristic synths, which are quite sweet. The songwriting is also on a high level. The only thing that annoys me are the Spencer-like vocals. Singing high all the time is like saying "fuck" all the time - it loses impact real fast.

idk i think his vocals are pretty damn catchy in most songs. and his melodies can be pretty unique.

imo the clean vocals for erra are 100x better than spencer from periphery

yeah and mad probs for actually playing the guitar and not just playing power chords and chugging like most lead singer/guitarist.
