I like the concise review. Album is good. Wish there was more stuff like the verses in the last track

I've had burials for about a week now and I can appreciate a few things about it. Unfortunately, sing the sorrow fans who had hoped this album sparked a renewed sense of hardcore afi will be disappointed. I will say that a few tracks are very promising.

My favorite track and definitely the most underrated track is A Deep Slow Panic. It is unreal how catchy and "deep" these lyrics are.

Aside from the released singles, the conductor, I hope you suffer, and 17 crimes..., Anxious is a pretty great song with a kick ass sing along chorus!

Like I said earlier, these 5 tracks are the only productive signs of life coming out of this album which is sad to think about considering it has been said that AFI narrows about 50 or so songs into 1 album worth for each release. I will always like afi, but it could be near the end.

You know, lighthearted, fancy-free. Mothers lock up your daughters, Miles is on the town.

Now you spend your days drinking cheap scotch and watching Pardon My Zinger on Comedy Central.

Calm the hell down, Adam.

I'm just going to go ahead and 5 this, and not listen to any of the songs until it's available to purchase from stores.

I thought Crash Love was better than DU. Davey's voice sounded a million times better on Crash Love than DU and I don't think that's up for debate.

I really enjoyed the sound on that album, and the B-Sides were even better (possibly some of the best songs AFI has written). I'm not really sure what you mean by Burials being what Crash Love should have been, Feather, because I don't hear anything like Crash Love in Burials. Sounds more like a mix of DU and STS to me.
