Love the album, Shayley is a great vocalist. I agree with the people that don't like them live. I agree, poor stage presence, Shay sounds odd, and they got another guitarist. I'll listen to the album but not see them live.

Me likey this album. Saw them live yesterday & they weren't too bad. Not great, but not as awful as some of the YT clips I'd previously seen.
Helmed by former Of Mice & Men clean vocalist Shayley Bourget, 'Dayshell' is the self-titled debut LP of this Californian outfit. Lying somewhere between post-hardcore & alt-metal, this is a consistent release which predominantly relies on its melodic & catchy vocal hooks. The musicianship is competent & rather atmospheric at times, while variety is added through a couple of acoustic tracks & a handful of more aggressive tunes. It's a little too slickly produced & not exactly lyrically profound, but this is a very promising start to a rebounding career. Recommended Tracks: Share With Me, Hail to the Queen, A Waste of Space & Avatar.
